At 08/03/15 at 9:43pm Chesterfield Police responded to Gratiot just south of 21 Mile Rd on a Motorcycle vs. Car Accident. It was learned that the motorcycle was traveling southbound Gratiot and the passenger vehicle was traveling northbound turning into the gas station. The collision occurred in the southbound lanes of travel.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Ronnie Karjo 46 yrs. old of Macomb Township, he was transported to McLaren Macomb Hospital where he succumbed from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the passenger car is a 21 yr. old resident of Chesterfield Township and was treated for minor injuries.
The causes of the crash are still being investigated by the Chesterfield Police and Michigan State Police Accident Investigators (learn more details at bruninglegal.com/car-accident-lawyer/injuries).
