PRESS RELEASE: On 9/10/25, Chesterfield Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to 48700 Donner for the report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, first responders observed the rear of the residence at that location to be fully engulfed in flames. First responders heard a subject gasping from a front room of the residence. First responders entered the residence, and were able to retrieve the subject, a 76 year old male, who was immediately transported to Detroit Receiving Hospital. The subject sustained burns to the left side of his body, and is currently on a ventilator and in critical condition. It was determined that there were no other subjects inside the residence. The subject’s family has been notified of the incident.
