ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR ENTRY LEVEL OFFICERS

WAGES: $61,776.00 ($29.70/hr) – $75,046.60 ($36.08/hr)

1% Associates, 3% Bachelors, 5% Masters Degree base pay incentive paid annually + $1.60 / HR MIDNIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL, 2-Year Lateral $75,046.40 ($36.08/HR), 4% CBA raises in 2024 ($78,041.60) & 2025 ($81,161.60)

14 PAID HOLIDAYS · 102 HRS SICK TIME · 4 PERSONAL DAYS (unused balance paid out annually)
VACATION: 1YR SERVICE = 56 hours  –  15 YEARS+ = 240HOURS


MIN QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree or prior law enforcement experience, & MCOLES certified or currently enrolled in an MCOLES Accredited Police Academy (Will sponsor academy if candidate is a cadet with the Chesterfield Police Department)

BENEFITS:
BCBS health/ vision dental. 50% of deductible ($4000/$2000) paid for by employer.
Long term/short term disability paid for by Twp, Life insurance policy,
$1,200 annual paid uniform allowance (initial uniforms supplied)

RETIREMENT:
MERS retirement plan, 2.25% multiplier on base wages, 4.5% employee contribution. $2600 annual contribution to Retiree Health Care Fund
Employer to match up to $1,000 into 457 deferred compensation plan

UNITS:
Rotating Detective Bureau, Traffic Bureau, K9 Unit, School Resource Officer, Bike Patrol, DEA & COMET assignments
