Officer Baker Awarded ‘Officer of the Year’ by Mount Clemens Elks Lodge

The Chesterfield Police Department would like to congratulate Officer Josh Baker on being awarded ‘Officer of the Year’ by the Mount Clemens Elks Lodge!

In May of 2018, Officer Baker had received a Chief’s Commendation for his actions in regard to an armed robbery of a local convenience store.  As a result of Officer Baker’s diligence and keen observation, he was able to quickly apprehend the suspects and the department was able to obtain felony warrants for both suspects. Officer Baker’s professionalism and tenacity are a credit to himself and the Chesterfield Township Police Department. His commitment and work ethic provide for a safer community for the residents of Chesterfield Township.

The Chesterfield Police Department is extremely proud of Officer Baker, and congratulates him on his well-deserved recognition by the Mount Clemens Elks Lodge.
