Operations Commander
The Operations Commander is responsible for the daily operating functions of the Patrol Staff and the Detective Bureau. The Commander coordinates work activities and investigations between shifts, bureaus and outside agencies. The Commander assumes control of police activities in event of an emergency and at major crime and accident scenes.
The Operations Commander answers directly to the Chief or Police and assists with the yearly budget and with the development and implementation of department policies and procedures.
